[description] => Are you an experienced Field Service Manager who now seeks an opportunity to join a market leading organisation?

We’re the UK’s leading specialist warranty provider and have been in business for over 100 years, with a proud history of looking after people and their products when things go wrong. That could mean anything from making laundry happen again for one customer to getting the central heating back on for another. But there’s more to us than that. Major manufacturing, retail and financial services brands choose to work closely with us. Many independent vendors do too. Whoever we’re working with, we tailor our approach to get the best results, while keeping our customers’ interests at heart. We manage the whole warranty process, including appliance registration, mailing, contact centres, repair networks, in-house administration and claims handling.

We now have an exciting opportunity for two Regional Field Service Managers to join our Service department. Covering one of two possible regions, your key responsibility will be to manage a network of gas engineers to ensure that suitable levels of gas competency are maintained when completing gas related work on behalf of our customers.

On a day to day basis, you will:

Undertake on-site inspections of contractors to ensure that competency is being exercised in the workplace.
Where necessary, provide suitable training, mentoring and coaching when deficiencies are identified in the competence displayed by D&G contractors
Record and document the findings of all visits to collate a clear indication of the levels of competence with gas engineers
Record and collate information to identify training needs, the effectiveness of training given and the engineers ability to exercise such training
Maintain a record of Continual Professional Development (CPD) for contractors
Undertake investigations when needed, into suspected or identified work
