If the answer to the above is Yes - this could prove the ideal role for you!

Here at Domestic & General our priority has been to support our employees through the recent challenges COVID-19 has presented, whilst still providing an excellent service journey for our customers. We are now excited to be recruiting two Claims Agents within our Service & Claims department in Bedworth, that will initially be fully home based. We have changed how we recruit and onboard, so your journey with us will now be fully virtual, giving you the flexibility but still the full engaging experience that you deserve.

The Role

Initially working from home – as a Claims Agent, you will liaise with Customers and Engineers to assess faulty appliances. You will be responsible for recording the Engineers report and confirming whether Customers' appliances can be repaired or written off – exercising judgement when need be.

This role is customer facing, so you will be required to provide updates on the status of claims for accidental damage and those related to heating, directly to customers and other internal departments e.g: Complaints.

This is a full-time position, based on an initial 6-month Fixed Term Contract. Shift patterns will generally be between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday, although occasional Saturday shifts may be required – so you’ll need to be fully flexible to work between the hours of 8am - 8pm Mon-Sun.

This role will be home based initially, with the potential for a mix of office and home-based working in the future. You will therefore need to live within a commutable distance, from our office in Bedworth.

[description] => Do you relish the challenge of a fast-paced telephone environment coupled with Administrative duties and a role that offers remote working? Would you enjoy working as part of a tight knit team and do you pride yourself on communicating with Customers?

Are you on the lookout for a new position that offers remote working? Do you want to work for a company that supports work life balance? If so, we may have the opportunity you have been looking for.

Here at Domestic & General our priority has been to support our employees through the recent challenges COVID-19 has presented, whilst still providing an excellent service journey for our customers. We are now excited to be recruiting our next Customer Sales Advisor intake within our Registrations department, that will initially be fully home based. We have changed how we recruit and onboard, so your journey with us will now be fully virtual, giving you the flexibility but still the full engaging experience that you deserve.

About the Role

This vacancy is in one of our inbound sales teams, meaning that you’ll be the first point of contact for customers who call in for help. You’ll receive calls from customers who will be looking to register their appliances. With your excellent customer service and your expert sales skills, you will give added peace of mind by up-selling other products, that customers can purchase that best suit their needs.

Please note that this role will be home based initially, with the potential for a mix of office and home-based working in the future. You will therefore need to live within a commutable distance, from our office in the Nottingham city centre.

This department has flexible shift patterns based on a 37.5-hour contract, between the opening hours below. The Recruitment team will be happy to discuss these in more detail s
