About the role

The Senior Digital Analysts’ role is to support digital sales growth by leveraging digital data. You will utilise the Google Product suite alongside various other data tools (quantitative and qualitative) to bring together actionable insights, reporting and visualisations that will drive product development and optimisations.

You will maintain strong working relationships with Product Managers and Product Owners and utilise your ecommerce knowledge and analytical skills to support achieving our Product & Data OKRs.

You will be used to working in a fast paced, agile team environment and can deliver against tight and evolving deadlines and priorities.  A motivated, curious and analytically minded person who enjoys driving positive change by leveraging the power of data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership of digital analytics for the Digital Sales products at D&G.
  • Own website and digital product tracking implementation using GTM/GA4. Defining data layer requirements and working with developers to implement it across our digital estate.
  • Work confidently with and nurture trusting relationships with your key stakeholders from across multiple disciplines (e.g. Product Managers, UX, Experimentation, Commercial, Tech&Engineering) to optimise Products together.
  • Offering data-driven recommendations to enhance digital product experiences and support strategic decision-making.
  • Report key metrics and provide performance updates to stakeholders.
  • Inform targets and budget setting.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the Product space, PMs’ visions and roadmaps, as well as the external influences on the Product area.
  • Maintain the highest standards of data integrity and accuracy.

Knowledge and Expertise

  • Advanced Google Product Suite knowledge and experience
    • Google Analytics – GA4 experience required
    • Google BigQuery – Advanced SQL querying
    • Advanced Google Tag Manager
      • Tag creation, implementation, execution and management.
      • Javascript experience with custom tags.
    • LookerStudio
    • Google Cloud
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Strong knowledge of ecommerce, website tracking and how they are built.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as PowerBI / LookerStudio
  • Proven experience of driving actions through analysis, within a previous digital analytics role.
  • High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Ability to explain complex analysis to non-technical colleagues clearly and with authority.
  • Strong delivery, results orientated.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Digital Survey tools and qualitative data
  • Proven experience in Optimisation and test analysis.

Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and continue to deliver at pace.
