Purchasing Lead
Location: Flexible working with visits to our office in Wimbledon as and when required.

We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and hardworking individual to join our Group Procurement team as a Purchasing Lead.
The successful individual will report into our Group Procurement Director and lead the Purchasing team for Procurement Projects, fostering collaboration and driving successful outcomes.
They will also support in helping Domestic & General articulate their long-term supplier strategy. In addition to this they will ensure procurement activities adhere to relevant laws and regulations. contractual and commercial input by supporting all requests for P2P management process.
Key Responsibilities:

ITIL Service Management IT requests via Service Now, Contract Management, P2P, Software/Hardware Maintenance renewals, Contract approvals, Travel approvals and queries, booking of travel across the business as well as the set-up of new users and training.

Support the business with all IT Technology.

Commercially collaborating across all our business departments for Supplier Management within the Procurement Policy and Guidelines.

Training the business on processes and software e.g. P2P and Workday. Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.

Management of the travel system to support travel across all D&G entities.

Ensure completion of procurement projects closeout and archive records upon completion.
Skills and experience required:
-
Procure to Pay using Workday, understanding of Contract Management, Quotes, Orders, Receipts, Software Contract Management tools e.g. Gatekeeper.

Document sign off Management Tools
-
Deep understanding of IT Technology, IT infrastructure and related products and services with the ability to assess quality, performance, and reliability.

Project Management experience including, Policy and Procedure documentation, testing and implementation and BAU support.

Experience dealing with documentation of NDA’s, RFP’s, Supplier Tenders. Travel Management

Customer Service and solutions focused.

Financial knowledge on accounts solutions and processes.

Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions and optimise procurement processes.

Reporting analysis for spend vs budget.
-
Proficiency with Microsoft office tools and other work technologies.
