We Have One of the 100 Most Influential People…
We are proud that our Director of Database Marketing, Stacie Maxey, was featured in the spring 2016 instalment of The DataIQ, which focused on the 100 most influential people in data-driven business in the UK.
After presenting at the Women in Data conference in November, Stacie gave a thought-provoking talk titled ‘Are women better than men at data’. The DataIQ editor David Reed was present, and after being impressed by the talk notified her that she would be featured in the magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in data-driven business in the UK.
In the article, Stacie discussed her varied career path which has involved working in financial services, the retail industry, as well as the oil industry. After working for LV= for six years, Stacie came to Domestic & General (D&G) to lead the data and analysis strategy across the group.
Also up for discussion was her data highlight of 2015. Stacie said that although most of her career was spent streamlining data solutions to empower marketing teams, D&G offers an opportunity to step change performance as we move from item-centricity to customer-centricity. The role as Director of Database Marketing allows her to utilise data and drive performance step changes through the business, which involves using insight from data to support decisions, making changes if needed, and aligning our customers with the right product and price – ultimately making the team engaging, thought-provoking and fun!
