Location: Flexible working with visits to our office in Wimbledon as and when required.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Supplier Governance Specialist to join our Group Procurement Team here at Domestic & General. Reporting into our Group Procurement Director they will be responsible for delivering the Procurement governance framework within Group Procurement. This would include process management and improvement to ensure effectiveness and compliance, as well and risk and controls oversight. Fulfil audit and regulatory requirements..

In addition to that they will ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements across all territories which are applicable to all third party supplier agreements as well as the implementation of the Group Procurement Policy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Procurement Governance framework management, including alignment with Regulatory requirements, process development, mapping and documentation.
  • Responding to internal and external audit requirements for Procurement
  • Conducting supplier due diligence and risk assessments
  • Management of policies owned by Group Procurement
  • Ownership of Procurement risks and controls – periodical reviews and updates
  • Coordinate supplier security, data protection, compliance, and risk assessments to maintain company standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on vendor governance activities and compliance status.
  • Review and optimize the supplier base to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work with the wider team on the implementation of the Supplier Relationship Management programme across the Group

Skills and experience required:

  • General understanding of Regulatory requirements from PRA, PFC, BaFin which affect procurement processes
  • Data input, reporting and general Supplier Relationship management process expertise
  • Understanding of the regulatory requirements
  • Ability to learn and understand procurement pricnipals
  • Excellent process improvement and change management
  • Significant experience in analysis and data management
  • High attention to details
  • Capable of building effective working relationships with stakeholders
