Helping Heart’s Easter Egg Appeal

Here’s some of our contact centre team handing over 100 Easter Eggs as part of Heart FM’s Easter Egg Appeal. The campaign has been running for two weeks, encouraging individuals and businesses to buy an extra Easter egg and donate it to the appeal. All week the Heart Angels have been busy collecting the eggs, which will be distributed to over 20 children’s charities across Sussex. Over 1700 eggs have already been donated.

As a result, less fortunate children – including those living in poverty or suffering from terminal illnesses – will enjoy chocolate treats this weekend.

Allan Warren, Head of Contact Centres contacted Heart FM to make the donation. He said: “We ordered Easter eggs for our contact centre employees, as a little way to say thank you for their hard work. When we heard about the Easter Egg Appeal, we thought it was a great idea and decided to order a few more boxes to donate. We really hope they spread some cheer this Easter weekend – after all everyone deserves a little treat once in a while!”

Charities involved in the campaign include Chestnut Tree House, Rockinghorse Appeal, Brighton Pebbles, Sussex Snowdrop Trust and East Sussex Young Carers.

Jonny Monsour, Street Co-ordinator at Heart FM said: “There’s been a great response from people across Sussex to the appeal. Thank you to everyone who took part, you’ve been amazing and will be making a lot of children smile this Easter weekend.”
