We have a fantastic opportunity for an Account Director to join our US Client Management team. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive long-term relationships with our clients. In addition to this, they will also play a vital role in ensuring the satisfaction and success of our largest clients. They will also be responsible for client retention, driving revenue growth, upsell/cross sell, and expectation management as well as provide valuable insights into client needs and market trends.

The Account Director will provide external leadership as the main point of contact and primary company representative to our clients. They will lead external and internal meetings and spearhead growth initiatives for their clients. Ability to collaborate, influence without direct authority, communicate in a straightforward, confident manner with a calm demeanor, and prioritize responsibilities is critical for success.

Key responsibilities:

  • Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategic plans aimed at increasing revenue and adoption of all applicable D & G products and services.

  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts ensuring they receive the highest level of service and support.

  • Account Analysis: Forecast and track client account metrics. Develop and deliver strategic business reviews in collaboration with appropriate internal resources.

  • Contract Management: Track and monitor key contract requirements to ensure compliance and assist with contract renewals.

  • Industry Expertise: Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to provide your clients with strategic insights and recommendations.

  • Expectation Management: Lead and facilitate internal and external calls involving functional teams to drive projects and initiatives to ensure appropriate expectations for deadlines and deliverables are met on a consistent basis. Participate in testing of new product development functionality for assigned clients. Participate in internal resource allocation and prioritization meetings to meet client deliverables.

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven track record of client management experience, preferably in a warranty/service contract industry role managing major accounts with client retention and revenue growth responsibilities.
  • Possess or able to develop an understanding of the industries in which our clients operate.
  • A strong communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Strategic thinker, able to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Data driven – can look at performance, metrics, and industry trends to make data driven recommendations.
  • A commiter to providing exceptional service featuring being adaptable, flexible and a team collaborator.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Power Point, Word and Outlook.
